At Clarke Cunningham Furniture we provide a modern approach to commissioning a bespoke piece of furniture. Clients are invited to visit the workshop to view existing examples of work, see timber samples and discuss the design of the proposed piece.

All our wooden furniture is handmade from quality timber by people who are both experts in their field and love the craft ensuring stunning workmanship and beautifully crafted timber throughout the process.

Working with furniture designer John Piekaar, the design process is an opportunity for clients to express their ideas on how they wish the final piece to look. Following the initial consultation, your ideas are then presented in the form of a presentation drawing and detailed specification. Samples of construction and woods can also be supplied.

Site visits are also recommended on some occasions. This gives the designer the opportunity to see where the piece is going to 'live' and fit in with the surrounding environment.

Clients are welcome to view the piece at any time during the construction process.
